I will be graduating in December, for a ADN program. I am a lisenced CNA, however I only worked a private case 2 nights a week while in school. I regret now applying at a hospital for experience and to get my foot in the door, however I really wanted to do well in school and have time to study.
I need to put a resume together to start applying for jobs as a graduate nurse. I do not know where to begin. Does anyone have any ideas/samples of resumes I can observe to get an idea. I feel as though I do not have anything to put down except my education. All the samples I have seen online seem to be geared towards the nurse with nursing background. Any suggestions or ideas from the veteran nurses as to what I should do?
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I recently did mine as a student looking for a tech/externship. If you do a board search on here, you can find some helpful posts from the past. I also found this website helpful http://www.dcardillo.com/articles.html
What I included:
-summary of qualifications
-nursing education
-certifications/activities/volunteer
-student nurse clinicals
-employment
However, I am still a student, so I am not sure how much different yours would be since you are graduating. I do not have any healthcare experience. This is why I included my previous employment then also student nurse clinicals. I made it clear that I was a student and these experiences were student clinical rotations. I put where I did clinicals, what class/floors (ex. med-surg, critical care), dates, and one or two bullets about my skills/what I learned there.
Hope this helps :)
Thank you! :) it does help to get other's input and other ideas.
I apprecitate it.

This helps me as well, having problems getting my resume looked at by HRs.
