Hi everyone! I am graduating from my nursing program in May and will be taking the NCLEX soon after that. I would love some advice. How is the best way to prepare? Are those review courses helpful or is it better to take the NCLEX immediately following graduation? What is the best study guide? Barnes and Noble has some options that look promising and NCLEX review from Saunders is always an option. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I have asked the mods to move your post to the NCLEX forum where you will find so many opinions on how/what/when to study.
Thank you!

Hey,
Some people preferred Kaplan or Hurst, but I personally used UWorld and LaCharity Prioritization to study for the NCLEX after graduation. I did about 75-150 questions a day to get used to how NCLEX is. Then I would go over the incorrect questions and try to dissect how I got the questions wrong (if I misread it or if I didn't know the disease process). But months leading up to graduation, I focused on ATI because that is what my school used. Totally depends on what your school uses for exit exams. But good luck! You will do great :)
