I graduated 20 yrs ago(BSN) and failed NCLEX. Recently, lost pharmaceutical job after 2 decades. I would like to prepare for NCLEX in Texas. Any advice...

with 20years backlog, there's a lot of catching up to do.
start out with finding any refresher courses available in your area. then try NCLEX review programs to update you with the current trend. then you move to online review questions and then self review with any resources you find helpful.
i wish you all the best in your journey..have the patience. don't challenge the NCLEX unprepared. think like a knight going into battle: be armed with the right weapons (knowledge) to gain victory and triumph over the odds.

Get yourself a good study guide NCLEX book, I would personally recommend the Saunders 4th edition comprehensive, it is good to cover content, it comes with a cd that lets you practice additional questions. I would also recommend the KAPLan strategies book, it basically gives you techniques on how to break down the NCLEX questions, and get to the correct answer. I used both of these books and passed! good luck!!!
