I just graduated this May about two weeks ago and I am starting my studying today. I still haven't gotten my ATT so that I can register, but I was wondering approximately how longs it takes to receive it from Indiana's BON? Also I took the Kaplan review course and scored pretty decently on the readiness test and so I was planning on just doing the Q-Bank questions and the 7 tests that are assosiated with it and go from there. Any other helpful tips or hints?
Thanks! :heartbeat

forget about the ATT.... print out the detailed test plan from nclex to give u an idea of what to look for in the nclex....get 2 to 3 review books and start doing questions....reading rationales and analyzing whether you are improving with application questions or not....
Thanks for everyones input and support:):) We can do it!!!

I can't believe how long the ATT is for some of y'all state. I picked up my Official Transcripts from school on Thursday. (commencement was Tuesday and final grades weren't officially due until Thursday, but they speed it up for Nursing Students) so I got my Transcripts on Thursday, drove to where the state office is. Handed them in and had my ATT in less then 24 hrs. Everyone in my class did the same thing. Most of us car pooled together. Everyone got their ATT by Friday afternoon. Some got it Thursday afternoon.
Hopefully you get it soon.
I wouldn't spend all the money for the Kaplan review. The 2010/2011 edition book has all the information you need to know on how to break apart the questions on NCLEX and the NCSBN is what our school recommended. They said the makers of NCLEX put on the review (not sure if that is true) anyway, it was 50 dollars for 3 weeks of access. This was sufficient. The website is http://learningext.com/pages/home so I would check this one out instead for the cost.
