So, I had a good GPA (3.7) and passed NCLEX on my first try 5 weeks after graduation, in 75 questions. Took the summer off (out of town with my family- hubby works on the opposite coast). Should I mention any of that on my resume or is that just silly?

I personally wouldn't include anything about your NCLEX on your resume because not to sound harsh, but employers don't really care about that. Now I was told back when I was in school that it was a good idea to include your GPA especially as a new grad job hunting for the first time.

In a business class that I took, I was told that if you graduated college recruiters and HR couldn't care less about your GPA. They just want to know whether you got the degree/diploma.

As long as your GPA is above 3.5 it is worth mentioning as a new Grad as well as mentioning if you have made deans list at all.
Mentioning NCLEX would be silly as they would know you passed based on RN after your name. However, you could list your license information under a heading such as "Certifications and Licensure" on your resume. Lots of examples online!
Good luck in your job search.
Oh yeah, I did make dean's list and graduated with honors. Well, my degree says "high distinction", I guess that's the same thing.

Silly.
"Dean's List" looks better than your GPA.
RN behind your name is all they care about your NCLEX experience.

Many organizations (including mine) are now requesting academic data (GPA & exit test score) to screen new grad applications. Since there really isn't any differentiation of clinical skills among new grads, it is a very good idea to include information about your superior academic performance.
Best of luck on landing that important first job.
Thanks for the advice. My school didn't do HESI, only ATI, and it was really just an NCLEX predictor (I scored 97% chance of passing NCLEX on first try) but I don't think it really meant anything.
It's a reputable and well regarded program in the area though.
