Hello,
I just signed the contract yesterday and will be reporting to a TPU for a 66H8A slot. Does anyone have info. on when I should receive orders? Any info. is greatly appreciated. Recruiter said it would take about a month. But I'd like some 1st hand info if possible. Thanks in advance.

For most people it is 30-60 days on average. Do you know what unit you will be going to?
Thanks for the quick reply.
I'll be assigned to the 48th CSH located in Fort Meade Maryland.

Welcome to the fold LT. Congratualations!
I agree with Jeck on the 30-60 days, providing your recruiter got your packet HRC.

I am not sure if active duty is different but I commisioned on 23 june and got the phone call to secure my choice of 1st duty assignment and OBLC date on 28 august. As of today I have not received "official" orders but atleast I know I will PCS to Ft. Stewart, GA some time June 2010 and OBLC in March 2010 which is what I requested. I will be much happier when I actually have "official" written orders though.

48th CSH, is that AD or a Reserve unit? I am looking to PCS closer to the east coast and would like to transition into a CSH
