Got a date for July 31 @ St. Mary's in Madison! Took about 4 months from application

Published

Applied in March, got a call on May 8 for a test date of July 31st-Aug 2nd. I could have gotten an early July date, but didn't feel like I would be ready. I was a bit heartbroken when I applied and saw "7-9 months." So that was a relief. I was on the cancellation list but I don't know if that helped me or not. It probably did. I never even called for a date. I just put my app in and waited. WOOHOO! Any tips specific to this area would be greatly appreciated. Someone already told me to stay in the hotel promoted by EC.

Yeah, they always give worst-case (7-9 months), just in case it really does take that long! :) Congratulations!! I always hear good things about the Wisconsin sites.

Congratulations and Good luck! I live in Wisconsin and hope to either get the Madison or Racine site, since I've heard very good things about those 2 sites. Did you just apply to the Madison site or to multiple ones? And to all of you that took CPNE already, is the wait for a test date that long(4 months), or does it depend on the location you've chose and how fast Excelsior process your application?
