Got accepted to UTA and moving there from CA

Published

Helloooo,

Not sure if people still use all nurses but I currently live in CA and have been doing my prerequisites in a CC. I have a few more prerequisites left to do which I plan on doing during the fall semester before applying for the nursing program at UTA in spring 2019. But as for now I have transferred everything and just got my letter of acceptance last week. Need to figure out a list of things to do before making the move. I've already applied for housing. Tomorrow I will be talking to my advisor and can't really think of much else...Ive been having slight anxiety about the idea of moving away from my family and friends. If ay of you have been to UTA school of nursing or are in the program I would love to hear your advice, opinions, any info that can be shared would be greatly appreciated. Also I currently work at UCLA perdiem as a care partner so if you guys have any idea where I can get a similar job where I can only work once a week or 4 shifts a month kindly let me know. Thank you :)

Welcome!

Thread moved to Schools/Colleges forum.

Now, if you are speaking about the University of Texas Arlington, we can move your thread to that forum where others in the program can help you. Let us know and we will move accordingly.
