This post is to help keep others who applied for the Fall Semester in the Nursing Program at Goodwin College.
Info that I've gathered from other sources and professors:
Application Deadline was April 6th to apply for the Program.
TEAS testing and scores were due by May 24th.
Decisions are typically sent out during the 9th week of the Summer Semester (Around July 13th).
The last few semester the cut off was set at 16 (meaning people who had a 16 for total points, were accepted if slots were available).
Outside that, it's all I know.
How is everyone feeling about it? Did you do well on the TEAS? What are your total points?
I'm nervous but feel okay. I have a total of 19 points. I got an 82% on the TEAS.

Hey there!
I applied last semester with 16 points and did not get in.. I retook the teas and got an 80 and now have 17 so I hope it's enough!
You should have nothing to worry about with 19 points!
It took about 2 months from when I took the teas for them to send out the letters so I suspect mid to end July we should hear something.
Good luck!
Oh wow! That is a bummer you didn't get in. I am sure slots when they get to that point is limited and is maybe only 1 or 2 available.
I am stocked that you retook the exam and did better! 17 is a solid number!
The waiting game is not easy and even when you feel like you are going to get in, you see old posts that show scores of 20-23 and your like hmmm.
So then the timing of your letter and what the professor said (9 weeks) lines up perfectly. It can't come soon enough haha.

Hi All! this is my second time applying. When I applied for the spring, my letter came about a month after I took the test. Hopefully the same applies for this semester. The cut off was 16 points. I applied with 15! I was so bummed This time I'm applying with 17. Fingers crossed! You truly never know if that's going to be enough though, judging by past semesters.. all I can gather from my experience taking the TEAS this time, is that I could tell a lot of people applied! when I took the test (sat may19) Goodwin had two testing sessions that day! I was moved from 8:30am to the 1:30pm session. More competition folks! I have to say, there were a lot of familiar faces! I felt that the questions from the test looked very familiar from the last test, which kind of made me feel a little annoyed since this time I focused more on certain areas. Was your test any different from the last time you took it? Please share your experiences. Congrats to 19 points! That's awesome! And Good luck everyone!
I just heard that letters are in process of being sent out. The department was reviewing all applications last week and this week and sending them out. Good Luck!
Just received my acceptance letter! It was post marked June 14th. Good luck everyone else!!!
