Good pop-up!

Published

Hello! :)

So, I had my NCLEX-RN exam yesterday morning. My computer stopped at 75 and right after my exam I was crying for an hour. The things that I studied weren't there. And so I was very sure I failed.

I got around 25-30 SATA's, 4-5 Ecg, 4-5 drag and drop, no math, 5-6 meds, the rest is prioritization and delegation.

After crying for an hour, I decided to try the PVT trick so that If it will be the cc page, I can start on accepting the fact that I really failed. But the pvt gave me the "good pop-up". This morning I tried it again and I'm still getting the good pop up.

The official result from my BON will be after 3 weeks. idk if I should be happy with the pvt. I just can't believe I passed with the questions that I had. Is the good pop up always accurate?

Congrats! What did you use to study

I really hope it is accurate. I used Kaplan on-demand. When is your test?

I just failed nclex last Friday I hope to retest in May. Would you recommend Kaplan

Well, my test questions were mostly SATA and Kaplan doesn't have a lot of that question type. But they will teach you how to approach those alternate questions and I find it useful during my exam. (Answering it as a true/false question and being very careful not to lose the topic of the question). I heard nclex 4000 provides tons of alternate questions. You might want to look that up.

Kaplan's decision tree is really useful, it's just that I had lots of alternate question type.

And for the content, I just read their content review guide (the blue one) and I liked it because it was concised. No unecessary information.

So, yeah I would recommend kaplan :)

Btw, I failed the first time. Because I only practiced answering few questions, I focused on reading saunders book. I just had 5 intense weeks of review with kaplan this time.

Laurie3- you said you failed the first time how long did it take to get your candidate performance report in the mail?

Congrats RN !

Thanks! I wish pvt is really accurate for me :))
