Can anyone suggest good nursing books (not textbooks)? I want to find some audiobooks to listen to in my car sense I'll be commuting over an hour each way for nursing school. Something funny is a plus.

What It Is and What It Is Not by F. Nightingale
another book that I think should be REQUIRED reading for all nursing students...

A Nurse's Story by Tilda Shalof :) I'm almost done reading it and it's absolutely amazing! You feel like you're right there with her :) it's basically a memoir of her experiences working in the ICU. I highly recommend it.

Yes! Tilda has written a few books and they are great. Her last one "Opening My Heart" recounts her experience being the patient when she has open heart surgery.
Oh I didn't even know about that one :) thanks for sharing, I will definitely be reading that one next!
