I just came back from the NCLEX and feeling stunning about the test. I could not believe the questions I was getting! I was waiting for the hard questions, but I did not encounter any. I had 2 calculation questions on titration, about 7 pharm questions, 12 S.A.T.A. questions; a lot of infections control, delagation and priority questions; peds, respiratory, cardiac and endocrine questions; in fact my first question was about grave disease which is hyperthyroidism. I had a total of 75 questions in almost 2 hours. I am confident that I did well, but I just need to wait for Wednesday morning to find out about my results. I will let you know.
Thanks

learn about infection control. there is a thread here that have a form posted to download from pinoy rn, or go on ................must know about the precautions to take, for example with a pt who as meningococal meningitis which is to wear a surgical mask(droplet precautions). also use standard precautions for all pts you will care for.

I took the test on last thursday and found out i passed on sat...i thought the test was hard and felt like I was dumb as a brick when i came out...i got 75 questions and completed it in about 45 min...two of my classmates one who got 75 and one who got 100 also took the test last week too...they came out and felt like the test was easy...they both failed the test...if you felt you did great then you may have...i wish you well and i hope you indeed pass.
I will keep you posted about my results. I am still feeling confident about the exam, but like you said it can go either way.

I came out of my test after 75 questions and felt pretty confident also. 2 days later I had my pass results. Good Luck for your positive results also!!
Thanks, I am glad to hear your kind word. Yesterday I was scared about going to test. I have studied for 6 weeks straight using ncbsn course review(studied all 1100Q and rationales), hesi review book and cd, kaplan book and cd, saunders book and cd and the incredibly made easy cd questions. Also used all my nursing book and class notes as resources. I took the infection control in service at my workplace and kept the notes to study, and also used this website on tips and important subjects that are being ask on the exam. Even after preparing like that, I was still scared to take the exam for fear on how difficult the exam is and how many felt like they fail the exam. Today, while taking my exam, that feeling was not there and til my last question I was not petrified. I do not know if it is right to feel the way I do but I can't help it. I just pray that my hard work paid off and in two day I will find out how I did.
Thanks again to hear that I am not alone to feel that way.
I am sooooooooo happy!!!!!! I PASSED
