Global Health college

Hey I really need some help!

I recently came across global nursing college in Alexandria , I did a walk through and everything I'm getting pretty good vibes. I have at least 16 credits that will transfer in towards the nursing program. My question is are their any recent graduates of the RN program or anyone in the school right now that can give me any insight on how the program is and if it's worth the time and money ?

There is no evidence that this school is accredited for RN education at all. The main website landing of any accredited school MUST clearly indicate accreditation status - for ADN & Diploma programs this would be ACEN & for BSN, could be ACEN or CCNE. Please Do NOT fall prey to the slick marketing and sales pitch of an unaccredited school. It's not a good decision.

They are accredited through ACICS is that not a valid accreditation company or do nursing programs need more to be considered accredited?

Although you would want any nursing school that anyone would attend to be accredited, it is important to know that these days it is hardly an imprimatur of quality, excellence or anything else.

Case in point: The very low graduation and retention rate University of Phoenix nursing school is accredited by the vaunted CCNE. (collegescorecard.ed.gov)

This organization considered by many to be one of the two nursing school gold standards of accreditation is an indefensible joke.

As we speak the whole concept of accreditation is under attack for very often acting in concert with bad actors in education ( mostly the for-profits) to apply lipstick to a pig. (ITT tech, Corinthian =ACICS)

We will hear more about this problem as time goes by in the media.

It seems that once again when there is money to be made many people look the other way so as not to upset the apple cart.

Nursing school is big business and too often where there's a buck to be made the rules are easily bent.
