Glendale Community College (GCC) ADN Spring 2023

Hi all, 

I wanted to start a new thread for the Spring 2023 application period at Glendale Community College (GCC) ADN program. Hoping that we can keep each other updated during this process. This will be my 3rd time applying. I was not part of the lottery selection during my first round due to not being able to take the TEAS for the Fall 2021 cohort due to personal reasons.

They did keep my application on file from the Fall 2022 application period. I am hoping that I finally get in for the Spring 2023 cohort. I also noticed that for the Spring 2023 application period they only had it open from July 15 to August 1st.

@melBb no not yet... I'm hoping that they are on time this time around since their application period was not open too long.

Here is GCC's time line:

Winter/Spring 2023 Applicants:

Please refer to the first 2 pages of your application regarding the timeline of how your application will be processed.

Eligibility Criteria #1: Equivalency & Eligibility Criteria #2: Chancellor's Formula (CF) Cut Score | The department is on track to review all Winter/Spring 2023 applications and have equivalency results on or before October 1st. By this date, applicants will be notified if they meet the Chancellor's Formula (CF) cut score. If they do not meet the minimum cut score of 75%, they will receive more information regarding the CF Remediation Plan.  

Eligibility Criteria #3 | Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) |  The department is expected to request TEAS 6 or 7 results for Winter/Spring 2023 applicants from those who have taken it, or provide the schedule for those needing it on or before November 15th.

Final Selection | The department is expected to send final results for the Winter/Spring 2023 on or before December 15th.

 

 

Has anyone received an email from them informing you if you met the cut score? Just wondering if they are on track.

They might be a little behind. They have not updated their announcements since 8/2022.

Me too and their application period was short. It wasn’t opened that long.

I haven't gotten any emails, but they said we should receive updates on or before the 24th of this month. So hopefully we get some LOL
