Did you read the statement on behalf of plaintiff from the quack that wants a court order to study her energy field.

Did you read the Woo case where the family has refused to either bury or cremate their dead (dead-dead, not vent dependent dead) mother for over six years pending continuing litigation?

There's craycray everywhere.

I have this feeling her heart has already stopped beating and family haven't announced it. Just a gut feeling.

I think so...they may be holding on to her body per lawyer's instructions...

I surfed facebook just to see what people were saying.

Allnurses is in the minority.

Apparently there should be no expiration date on those declared dead.

Most posters on several different sites are giving the thumbs up to the

family, and the donations continue.

Of course we are...that is because we are the voice of reason....that the thumbs up continues.....I am not surprised as they take down all posts that don't agree with them....and block those who do....I know I have been blocked from from several of these sites.

I'm not sure if that's true. Allnurses doesn't have someone pruning the comments that don't fit the owner's preference. I did a lot of surfing on Facebook and found that it was very clear comments were being deleted because responses to them were still there. You look in places where comments can't be deleted, such as the reviews on Dolan Law Firm's page and you see people sharing the same views as here. Heck, in this thread alone, non medical people have expressed gratitude that medical professionals have taken the time to critically appraise the situation and expressed opinions that the non medical people had without even having the understanding of physiology of brain death and organ failure. People definitely get it. They just keep getting silenced.

There's not much that hasn't already been said. Eventually even the most patient folks will get tired of explaining that those who "came back" from brain death weren't properly diagnosed etc. One thing occurred to me about the donations: compared to other high-profile situations, it's really not that much money and it won't go that far. Only an average of $36 apiece from about 1550 people. Peanuts compared to some cases that bring in $100K+ in a day. Not saying it's not dreadful! I think people are turning their attention elsewhere now that things aren't white-hot on the news 24/7.

It'll heat up again when there's some news, genuine or fabricated, I'm guessing Also, I'm doubting the reports that she's at the family home. Does anybody else think that the press would have had that area staked out?

There are logical comments with thumbs up. They are just outnumbered and cussed at by others. It's ironic so see all these faithful people praising god and cursing someone to go to...that hot place with the guy with horns and a tail...in the same sentence :sarcastic:

I would recommend bags of frozen blueberries over frozen peas. That way the brain will get the antioxidants from the blueberries via osmosis. That will relieve the swelling AND encourage healing!
