i have been completing my senior practicum rotation (230 hours) and have bonded with all the nurses that work on the same shift as my preceptor....they all were willing to allow me to work with them, there is 5 nurses and 1 nurses manager i have worked with. what would be some good ideas to show appreciation and let them know that they all have helped with my education. two things i will already be doing is a card for the unit and baking a cake, but i need some ideas for each individual...5 are girls and 1 is a guy.
thanks in advance for help with this, i truly appreciate it!!!!

Maybe a food-y gift to place in the break room - chocolate covered fruit bouquet? Cookie bouquet?

Yeah I was gonna say the same. Something everyone can enjoy but isn't over the top. Chocolate or fruit bouquet sounds great. So nice of you to do that.

How about a gift card for a free sub(like$5) from a place who delivers to hospital? And yes anything you do will make them happy and is very nice of yu to reciprocate.

When I wanted to thank the unit I was on as a CNA student, I got them a box of cookies and a card. They appreciated it a lot. I also made sure to tell them all thank you personally before I left. :)

One of our nurses wanted to thank us all for giving her a baby shower. She brought in a bucket of pens that have nurses sayings on them. The saying change every time you click it. Like "making a difference around the clock." It says #1 nurse on it. It looks like she got them from greetingpen.com. It is really cool and unique. I love it.

When in school I gave coffee gift cards. There was a Caribou Coffee inside the hospital and a Starbucks outside the hospital. Or, I would pick up a box of coffee from each place with plenty of cream, splenda and sugar; then have make a breakfast dish. One student gave stethoscope clips which were really cute and appreciated.

I've gotten a gift of a nice hand lotion and lip balm which was truly appreciated- Avon's Silicone Glove is a good example of a perfect lotion for those of us who are constantly washing our hands (and no, I'm not an Avon lady!...)
