So I will be starting at the University of Southern Maine in May for their accelerated BSN program and I just wanted to pimp the program a little bit because it is PHENOMENAL and I think many here will like it.

AND when you apply, you don't need references! Since you already have a BA they waive those. The curriculum is also different from many ASN programs in that it has 2 med surg clinicals, a Child clinical, a Maternity clinical AND a psych clinical. You get exposure to so many areas and get to do clinicals at Maine Medical Center (where I work) that is rated one of the safest hospitals in the nation (I think 3rd safest), is a Magnet hospital AND has a Children's Hospital in it (Barbara Bush). It is also rated in the top 50 for orthopedic surgery in the US. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on this awesome program.
Also, the only prerequisites are Anatomy and Physiology I and II and statistics, and you can have those in progress when applying to the school!
