Hi,
I feel as though I will never get my nursing degree. I have been taking the prereq's and now am ready for my clinicals. I had been accepted into a program but had to decline due to my son being diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. Durring this ordeal my grade for one of my prereqs was a D not a C. After getting ready to reapply I find out that the nursing program that I was applying to had a policy that no science class can be repeated but once and this is in the nursing student handbook. (Which I only repeated once). My argument is that I am not in the program yet. Due to my grade I had to write a letter of appeal and am waiting on a decision. My other grades were fine. Can anyone please be honest on my chances of getting in the program?! Will I ever get into a program?

I don't think anyone here can know your chances of getting in. Its unfortunate you had to pass up the first acceptance but your son is ofcourse, priority. If you end up not getting in, check out another program? Maybe do something medically related and do the rn later on when it works out for you... that probably doesn't help but its a thought
