Getting Nursing License in a Different State as a New Grad

Published

Hi,

So I am on track to graduate nursing school in May of 2018 and I am currently attending nursing school in Nevada but planning on moving to Idaho right after graduation. I am not sure if I should get my license in Nevada and then endorse it to Idaho (because my nursing school pretty much allows for us to get our licenses quickly) or to try and get it in Idaho (which I heard was a possible longer process), what do you guys recommend? I am kind of lost as I have never had to get a license in anything before this.

Thanks!

Just get the license in the state you'll be working. No sense wasting time and money.

Good luck!
