Getting GA Licensure

Happy Memorial Day everyone,

I am a NYS licensed RN and am thinking about relocating to Georgia. How would I go about being able to practice in GA without losing my NYS licensure. In addition I know I won't be making the same money as in NYC but I wanted to know what the take home pay would be on average. Unfortunately I'm bringing my NY bills along. NYS and NYC taxes are high and I was thinking perhaps with the pay cut if taxes in GA are cheaper maybe the take home wouldn't be that much of a difference. I currently have 3 years Critcal Care experience working on a Cardiac stepdown unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
