question how long did it take you to get your authorization to test paper back and when you did how did that work was there a number to call and set the date up? I am confused as to how this works I graduate August 17th and would like to plan a little better i want to take a prep course ASAP and then take the NCLEX ASAP after that??

you first send your application to your state's board of nursing; you can loook this up on your state's website. You send that in with your fee and they send your authorization to test back to you in the mail within 2 weeks or so. After that, you need to go on to pearsonvue.com and register (pay the money for your registration) and within a few days they will send you an email with a verification number...you use this number to register on the website. It is much easier to do it on the website. you have two steps: your states authorization and fee and then the actualy Nclex registration at pearson (also a fee) Hopefully this is helpful and hasn't confused you.
