I was a stay at home mom for 25 years, and I have been thinking about getting back into nursing, but I'm not sure what direction I should take. I know a lot has changed. My license is active.

Can anyone help?

Why not call your local community college or large teaching hospital and ask about a refresher course. It is great, you have kept your license active, but things have changed a lot over the period you have been away. Please make sure you feel comfortable with your skills before you take on a position. It is very tempting for a facility to see you and your active license as an easy mark and put you in a plcace you may not be prepared to be. Best of luck!
