how to get a hard card fingerprint for CA BRN?

im so confused about the fingerprint to submit in ca brn? how do i get the hardcard fingerprint? should i send it later after i mailed my application or it should be mailed along with my application? and how much did u pay? its 126 dollars right??? tnx for the reply if ever.

tnx i have my ssn already and actively working in a nursing home here in alaska. i tried to use the request form for fingerprint hardcard in their website but it has been more than a month and i havent receive the form yet. that's why i was wndring if i should send the application form first with the payment( applicaion fee and fingrprint) before they send me the fingerprint hardcard. i tried calling them many times already but it just doesnt work coz no one actually answers the phone. i emailed them but again no response so i requested again for fingerprint hardcard becuz they might not received my first request. i read in the other forums that they send two sets of hardcard but iread in their website they only need one finger print. should i send them the two forms to make sure yah? tnx for the help. appreciate it a lot.:)

Contact a local law enforcement agency and ask if they can provide the forms to you. If you get the forms, look on the CA BRN website and make certain you fill in the info the same way it is filled in on their form and follow their instructions. If you can't get the forms from a law enforcement agency, try a military organization. Go to the security section of any military unit and the person who does security clearances may be able to give you the forms. Again, you would have to fill the forms out the way the CA BRN states on their website. HTH

tnx. i thought they only accept hardcard provided by them(ca brn) but i will try to contact a local company near us who provide fingerprint. tnx so much. one more thing. the forms i should accomplish from my school is the transcript and breakdown but i read somewhere here that diploma and the nursing program verification form is also needed? coz i thought its the transcript and breakdown are the one needed only. tnx so much for the help. You should direct any further questions to the board, but if in doubt about the forms, just do all of them. If you send forth all of them, then you know you will be covered. Good luck.
