if you get F in one of your classes could this prevent you from getting into nursing ?

My school takes your entire GPA and grades when you apply for nursing , I'm not doing very well in my first prerequisite and I'm wondering if I do fail a class if this can prevent me from getting into nursing school at my community college .

Depends on the school's policy on fails, retakes, or even if withdrawing might be a better option. But yes, I'm sure it has happened. Talk to an advisor to see what is going to.be your best option. Most importantly though is to figure out why you are struggling and work on changing it. Are you not studying enough? Need to take better notes or pay attention more? Struggle with test taking? Work on figuring that out so you can be successful moving forward. And good luck!

At my college you can take it again, but my advisor said, it will bring my grade down, and I can still come back from it but it takes up more time. My teacher is letting me retake one test , but I'm worried about finals she said if we pass that we can change our grades
