has anyone heard of the new guidelines that were supposed to be out last week, but hasnt as of yet, on wound care. i know of the ones that came out in nov 2004, but one of our rnac's came back from a anac conf. in chicago, and they were told that more new guidelines are coming on wound care.

we are in our window for our state survey, and are trying to get "up to date" with the new guidelines.

thank you, tracy rn

I was provided the wrong infromation of what was coming out.. she is an RNAC..and that is what she was waiting for... the new RAI updates. Not much for me right now.. sometime in the future, right now.. I need to get my facility moving with new dressings, new protocols, according to the new guidelines. thank you

I hope this helps. For the RAI: http://www.cms.hhs.gov/quality/mds20/raitoc.pdf and for decubitus wounds:
