Unless you have a BSN, you're out of luck.

A BSN is not required. The eligibility requirements taken directly from the ANCC:

Hold a current, active RN license in a state or territory of the United States or hold the professional, legally recognized equivalent in another country.
Have practiced the equivalent of 2 years full-time as a registered nurse.
Have a minimum of 2,000 hours of clinical practice in the specialty area of gerontological nursing within the last 3 years.
Have completed 30 hours of continuing education in gerontological nursing within the last 3 years.

Nowhere does it stipulate the degree required, just the years/hours of experience and practice in the field.

The last time I looked at any certification on the ANCC website, the minimum was a BSN. I'll check again.

    Hey,

Just google Geriatric Nurse-BC. You have to take a certification exam.
