I was just reading a couple of peoples experiences and it didn't sound like a promising school. Has anyone else attended that school recently for nursing and how was it? I don't have the option right now to go to a university. I'm going to try it, I have to take my prerequisites first so I can't officially start nursing until 2010 (if I'm lucky). Does anyone have words of advise. Please share your experiences. Thank you!!!!! I hope it won't be as bad as what I read by time I start my nursing courses.

Yes, I can definitely speak from experience. I have been going to GPC since Fall 2006. I have to say that from my experience, it is a tough school, as should be every nursing school, but the admin and instructors there are really making the difference that is getting things at the school better. I have been through the 3rd semester twice now, by both the curriculum and myself. I have to admit that these instructors have made such an amazing change to curriculum this time around than I ever thought I would see. They truly do care about helping the students to get to the level of being a competent and confident nurse. The advice that I can give to you is to find out from many sources about the schools you are looking into. Go to the school, talk with a lot of instructors and students if possible. Don't just listen to one or two people. Get a good overall perspective of the schools and remember whatever school you choose, stay away from the negativity and be as positive as you can. Good luck to you and if you have any more questions, please email me. God bless and good luck.

GPC is a good college to take your prerequisites. I am taking my prerequisites there than go to a four year college.
What school do you want to go too?
I am transferring to georgia state this spring. I hope to apply to the nursing program by fall 2009.
