Where do you work? (Hospital)

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

I'm so interested to hear personal experience from nurses at some of the bigger hospitals in Georgia/ATL. Northside? Piedmont? CHOA? Kennestone? All departments, just interested in the mentality/atmosphere etc.

Worked at Northside in the past - very nice hospital, treats employees well..hiring process takes some time but worth it. They have multiple locations..ATL hospital traffic is horrendous.

That's nice to hear! Yes, Atlanta traffic is just ridiculous.

Piedmont Atlanta. Great pay, reputation and co workers. Some of the highest acuity of patients (especially cardiac) in the southeast. Great place if you want valuable experience!

I work at Northside, I agree with the other posters about the traffic into and out of the perimeter. The hospital is awesome and they were just voted top hospital on Forbes Best Places to work. I just got a friend hired there and am getting a pretty nice referral fee. I would have even without that cause I love my co-workers and the patients! Good luck!

This good to hear! Piedmont and Northside are my top two picks I have my eye on. Traffic sucks but I'm aiming for nightshift, so hopefully I'll be opposite the rush hour majority. Thank y'all so much, this is very reaffirming.

I work for Northside. The traffic sucks. I LOVED it until management change. Its still not that bad but we were fine before with the manager we had, and the the four new mangers we received.
