Kennesaw Spring 2013 applicants

U.S.A. Georgia

It seems way early to be posting this, but the application deadline actually isn't too far away. Is anyone else applying to KSU for spring 2013 admission? I've requested to be considered for the traditional and accelerated programs. Took the TEAS this morning, but I'm still finishing this semester's prerequisites, so I don't know what GPA I'll be competing with yet. Would love to connect with anyone else who's applying!

Best of luck, all!

I called today... They said they haven't even started looking at the spring applicants yet. I guess I can stop spying on the mail man for a while!

I expected it would probably be later since they moved the deadline back an entire month!! On the positive side mid-August is only a month away!! :)

Hi everyone,I applied to KSU for spring 2013.I cannot wait for the interview letter to arrive. Please, if anyone receives one let me know!I would like to get accepted to the traditional program.I am finishing organic chemistry within two weeks, and I will take statistics during the fall semester. That will be my las prereq what I have to have. I have a GPA of 3.9 something. The TEAS score is 80%.i hope this will be enough for an interview!!

I heard that last year the lowest Teas test score that someone got in to KSU was 80%. That warms my heart because I scored exactly 80% so, I am hopeful that I have a chance.

I talked to Sandi on Friday at orientation, and she said the interview letters might not go out till the end of September. :(

The good news is, there are about 700 applicants for spring admission - 300 less than the number of fall applicants. And, there are about 20 more slots open for spring admissions than fall. Statistically, our chances are better than for fall applicants.

Do you know how many slots there are available all together?

If I remember correctly, it's 130 total spots and 40 of them are accelerated, the other 90 are traditional.

Two more months is just cruel! Definitely glad to hear that there are less applicants for the spring though! Hopefully each and every one of us will be one of the 130! I got a letter in the mail from KSU the other day, and my husband saw it first, thought it must be the nursing letter and got excited when he saw the word Congrats! Unfortunately, as we know it was not a nursing letter, just a letter saying I made the dean's list... Which is great, but....What a tease!

I was in the office Friday, and I was told they have already started weeding out applicants, so the process is definitely started. So nervewracking!

I was really hoping that we would find out about the interviews before September! :( So if we aren't accepted we can at least move on to plan B. But hopefully we will all be accepted and we won't have to worry about that! :)

I emailed Fran this morning, hoping that maybe when Sandi said end of September she'd just slipped up a bit. Fran emailed back and said they'll send letters out by the end of August. Whew! One more month, folks!

Yeah! End of August is way better! I can handle that :) Aw, girls, here's to all of us getting in! From what I've gathered from reading past threads and posts, most of the people who are concerned enough to post on these threads seem to get in, so hopefully, that's the case!
