GHC fall semester is going great! Lots and lots of fun. How do you guys in Marietta like your instructors?

I'm loving it too but missing you guys as well....It's a lot of reading but not too bad. How are you Rome students feeling about everything this week? What all did you guys do this week? Vitals & interviews?

We did vitals yesterday and interviews today. We also started Physical assessment today. It's not as bad ( so far) as I thought it would be. I think the classes are fun. There is a lot of reading, but to me, it's not hard reading. Everything is straight forward. They split us into 2 sections, so our class only has 51 in it. Melissa and I are in the same class, but I'm not sure how many are in the other section. I think it's probably about the same. We have really good instructors who seem to have good personalities and a sense of humor, something I appreciate. So far the worst part of our class is the 3 or 4 people who either have trouble hearing or just aren't listening. One person asks a question and then within 5 minutes, 2 more people have asked the same question. It's frustrating!! Other than that, I have no complaints.

How about Marietta? I think we are all doing basically the same thing, but we have long day on Wednesday.

I really like Marietta so far!!! I think we have a good group. LOTS of reading this weekend....and I agree the reading is not difficult but still LOTS of reading.

Our long day is Wednesday too. I do really love it there. The class seems small. We have 39 students and we have two teachers and I really like them. I feel like its a great group of people. I know I was laughing hard today in class. Stardan, Haleybeth, kdolphin, & hobo, had me laughing with their nursing scenarios this morning. It was too funny! :yeah:

All you guys made me laugh this morning doing scenarios!!! I loved it!!! I also think we have a great grioup of people!!! I didn't expect that many guys to be in our class!! Our teachers are great!!! I couldn't ask for anything better!!! I am so glad I met you guys, it makes this experience much better!!!

I am so glad we all get along so well since we are going to depend on each other so much over the next two years. You guys are all so great. And I love the teachers at Marietta.

They stated in class that somewhere in the book we can find an example of a completed health interview form. Does anyone know where and which book?

can i please remind members of terms of service and not to name instructors etc from your nursing school. this includes initials

no potentially libelous information about specific schools, instructors, or health care facilities/entities should be posted in these forums. while it is important to be able to network, everyone should be mindful of the following:

1. it is a small world - when we narrow it down to a state and throw in some personal info, there is actually a pretty good chance someone may recognize you if you are not careful. your privacy is paramount to us.

2. while allnurses.com is a wonderful place to vent (without excess personally identifiable details) it is not the place to express why ("x" specific person, place or program) is terrible. gripe away, but since we cannot permit allegations to be made about named entities, your care in not naming them is very much appreciated.

3. please do not give out personal information about others. do not name names where anyone could identify the person in any facility including your nursing programs.
