Darton Hybird Nursing Spring 2015

U.S.A. Georgia

Published

I applied for the Hybird at Darton for spring 2015, I have read post that say they only let in about 25 I mean is that information directly from the nursing department or is a a rumor by frantic pre nursing students such as myself. Is there anyone out there who wishes to share any insight

I heard the same thing when I was there taking my TEAS on Friday. They shared it like this: You are applying to hybrid? You know that they only accept TWENTY FIVE??? :nailbiting:

Oy! lol Not sure if the rumors are true...

Is so that should be information that we should know prior to applying, if I don't hear it from the nursing department itself I'm not going for it. Was the TEAS hard

Well... I don't care what anyone says. It's the program I'd like to get into, so it's the one I'm applying to. :)

It was stressful, but not necessarily hard.

I got an 88.7% overall.

Wow you did great I'm all for that I feel the same way I take mine on the 25th I am so nervous did you use the ati study manual . Any advise you would like to share

Definitely use the ATI study manual!

I took one practice test with the answer sheet--working through each one using their method. Then, I took the next one on my own.

Just think how they tell you to think! :)

I used the ones online and they seem much more harder than the ones in the book. I'm going to go through it again it's the science it is so broad.

There are 30 seats in the NURS 1101 class that is scheduled for the Spring 2015 hybrid program according to MyDC. I would assume they would fill all of the seats.

What about the one that had 96 seats

That is the traditional program. The hybrid course has an extended daily schedule (9a-7p). It actually combines your clinical time plus course time (NURS 1101 & 1105 first semester).

The hybrid program only starts on odd years. The hybrid program is the one/two day a week program. The traditional program requires attendance every day.

DSC: Nursing | Programs - Albany Track

Students are accepted into the Albany track three times each year: Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

I'm not sure if the website is wrong or whomever you spoke with is misinformed.

You can view the course schedule all the way back until Fall 2012 in MyDC.
