I applied for spring 2016 and took the teas aug. 25th
If anybody is keeping up with this thread, I just received my acceptance letter from GGC. It seems that they are only sending emails, or the email reached me quicker than a letter, anyway.
I got my acceptance by email as well, and still haven't received my physical letter by mail either. Congrats on getting in!!
Congrats!! See you in the spring

If you do not mind me asking, what was yall's science and math GPA, overall GPA, and TEAS scores. I am trying to see if I have a chance of getting in.
I think they only look at a science GPA.
Science: 3.25
Overall GPA: 3.76
TEAS: 93.3%
Oh my!!! Can you tell me what you did to get a 93.3% on the TEAS??
Teas: 88.7%
Overall GPA: 3.7
Science GPA: 3.88
I know someone who recently met with their mentor and their mentor had a lot of info on the nursing program (last semester they did not have this info) as far as how they look at applicants and what they are looking for, if you go to GGC i would recommend asking your mentor what all they look at. I know that they said the teas weighs around 40%, they do take into account science GPA, and of course recommendation letters and volunteer work and things like that.
Order the study guide from ati, which is the same company who proctors the exam. It's a pretty easy test, but practice timing using the online practice tests. I would also brush up on basic math calculations without a calculator, and try taking as many required science courses as possible before taking the exam. Some of the questions can be pretty specific- you either know it or you don't.

I have a 3.31 GPA and 70% on TEAS. Do you think my TEAS score is too low?
