George Washington University ABSN/VBSN Spring 2022

Hello! Has anyone applied to the George Washington University (GWU) Accelerated/Veteran's BSN program for the Spring 2022 cohort? I just submitted my application and was wondering if there was anyone else that was in the same boat as I am.

I submitted my application before the priority deadline! How about you?

I submitted mine earlier this week. You'll definitely be hearing from them a lot sooner than me haha. I don't think I'll hear from them until end of August or early September. Do you live in the DMV area?

Yes, I live in the northern Virginia area, so I am close to the gwu! Hbu?

That's so awesome! I live in California but my husband works remotely for a company in D.C. so we're thinking about moving. Is GWU your top choice?

Nice! And yes GW is my top choice but I am a little nervous about my application because my stats are on the lower side, are you applying to any other ABSN programs?

I also applied to Marymount University for their Fall 2021 distance ABSN program as well as a few schools here in California. So far I'm still waiting to hear back. 

My stats aren't the most impressive either but I heard that they consider medical experience, your references, and your essay the most. I'm hoping for the best for both of us! We just have to stay positive ?

Did you apply to other ABSN programs too?

yeah I applied to other Virginia schools like VCU and Shenandoah University. I'll probably apply to Marymount and I am also thinking about applying to programs in Maryland and Pennsylvania as well
