Word/Sight Cards

  1. I need to make some word/sight cards for nursing homes and working with children. I can make them with pictures from a magazine, but I was wondering if anyone new of a site that had a variety of them I could print to make my cards? ADL's, maybe some for different activities such as reading, worship, etc... Any ideas would be great! Or, maybe there are some recommended books I could use to cut out of. I want to make these off my computer, print, then laminate. Although they are for a class, I would love to have these done nicely enough to use in the future if I'm on a pediatric floor as well as anyone with hearing/understanding difficulties.

    Thank you.

Actually, I don't have an answer for you. But, the first thought that came to my mind was to check the websites for the deaf. Also the speech rehab people might have these kinds of resources for stroke and brain damage patients. Just some thoughts.
