What was your hardest semester?

I'm in 203 now and hear it's the hardest one yet. After one week I'm understanding why they say this. We've only had 2 days of lecture and I'm already overwhelmed. Granted, I'm also taking micro too. :chair: So what was/is your hardest and why?

Thanks! :)

Most of us probably don't know what you mean by 203.

second semester- hands down. thought it would kill me

Well I just started 3rd semster but 2nd semester was a bear. M/S 1 and Psych. I didn't find the concepts in Psych hard nor the clinicals..but our instructors asked some Mensa level test questions- I swear. We had no A's in the class AND we even had 4 people repeating it.:uhoh21:

This semester is the hardest because it is my last semester before I graduate in May.

I have a disorder called senioritis and it is really bad, symptoms include lack of motivation towards school, inabilty to wake up on time for class, nightmares about failing NCLEX, an avoidance of text books, and a true hatred for careplans. The disorder is only cured when the affected person puts on a cap and gown and receives a degree...

My third semester was the worst for me because I was really burned out. I had worked and taken classes straight through without the summers off. Our instructor got her test questions from an orfice in the lower half of her body. They certainly weren't from the lecture, text or power points. I was ready to walk out and never look back. Thank God for some good friends!

I am in my last semester and doing my practicum. Though it isn't hard it is so very stressful to juggle everything in this transitional stage. A job, plus clinicals hours, plus paper, and the extra classes I am taking to get a head start on my BSN, not to mention the responciblities I have at home = stress, stress, stress. This is also my first post! Yeah! Allnurses.com is great.

I have nothing else to add though I just wanted to say that you are funny! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

peds and ob

because unlike my other semester the final exam decided for everyone whether we passed the class

Specializes in Psych, Extended Care, Med/Surg.

OB and Peds was my biggest struggle because I would base my test answers on my experiences and not what the book stated. The stages of what a child does is not black and white like the text book tells you but the test answers are what the text book states.
