a fake nurse. First off, I am a CNA and have never portrayed myself as anything but a CNA.
I don't know what her deal is and I think it's kind of funny that she resorts to low blows like that. Maybe she needs a Xanax or some anti-psychotic meds.

Stories like yours make me feel better and better about having had an only child.

What's her occupation?
I'm sure with the help of the people on this site you could come up with a whole list of fake nasty things to call her next time you see her.
Better yet, save them for the next big family get together.

She sounds ignorant.
Perhaps you're more of a fake psychiatrist, diagnosing your sis and prescribing meds...sorry couldn't resist

"sometimes you just have to be a little bit deaf or a little bit blind sometimes."
that quotation is from my late mother and really helped me at times.
before i became a nurse, i was a book editor, then after that, an ad agency proofer and occasional copywriter. a couple of my cousins made what seemed like continual remarks like, "must be nice to
get paid for just sitting on your ... reading." or "you wouldn't know work if it bit you in the butt!"
my dad was a lawyer, who was on the receiving end of comments from a certain type of male. they worked with their hands, did manual labor jobs, and tended to have little education. they'd always
sneak in seemingly offhand remarks like, "it's easy to see you've never done an honest day's work in your life!" or "a real man has calluses." actually, he laid railroad ties summers between school years
and said that was where he got some of his drive to finish his education. he did not want to be doing
that job when he was sixty, like some of his fellow workers.
keep your head held high and ignore her petty comments. you'll look like the better person and she'll look weak and pitiful.
I honestly would never even consider a CNA a "fake nurse".
If the sister wants to see a fake nurse, she should take a look at the cover of Blink 182's album, "Enema of the State".

send your sister to LTC and show her what CNA do there. I have the highest respect for CNA, they do a lot of dirty work and have to endure so much physically and mentally on a day to day basis. Ignore her!! I always ignore those who cannot speak with their heart but with their xxx. =)
