Schools in Baltimore Area

  1. Just curious if there are any students currently attending a BSN program in the Baltimore area. I will be relocating to that area this fall and am looking to hopefully start in Jan 04. I had already been on schedule to start clinicals at my present school this coming fall, but due to my husband's transfer, I am applying to schools in Maryland. An info would be greatly appreciated. I will be traveling from the Aberdeen area. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi! University of Maryland at Baltimore (not at College Park) is one of the top rated nursing schools in the nation. It seems to have a good reputation. John Hopkins also has their own School of Nursing but it has only been in existence for about 10-15 years now and their tuition is out of this world!

If you lived somewhere between Baltimore and Washington, DC, (Columbia, MD is a very nice town) you could feasibly commute to the DC schools as well. Georgetown University and Catholic University, both in the District, have good reps but again very expensive.

Good luck on your adventures and keep us posted!! Jeanne
