i have to know that my school isn't the only one things like this happen at. scenario...
tuesday - first day of lecture class. everyone finds out who their clinical instructor will be and whether their clinicals are wed/thurs or thurs/fri. my clinical group is told thurs/fri and to meet the instructor at the front lobby. we'll be told later in the day what time. you see, our clinical instructor does not come to the main campus as she strictly does clinicals (no lecture) and her primary job is at the hospital. we find out at 4:30 (just before walking out of lecture) that we are to be at the hospital at 1300 on thurs.
wednesay - i'm cleaning house, doing laundry, reviewing notes from tuesday lecture. my phone rings at 1245. it's another girl in my clinical and the freshman team leader instructor has just called her and says we are supposed to be at clinical at 1300 today!!!!
what the h*ll?!?!?!??!!?! there is no way i can make it there before 1500. i need to shower, get dressed, get my clinical stuff together, and drive for an hour to get there.!!! this girl talks to our clinical instructor and explains that we had all been given incorrect information. the instructor says call everyone and see how many can make it. no one can before 1500. we just lost a day of clinical and the hospital orientation!!! they say this won't hurt us. well, in my opinion it better not!! it was not our fault!!!
this is just another way they play with our heads. i apologize for the length of this. just had to get it off my shoulders. any one else have problems at their school, with the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing??? please share.
