I had to take a day to 'think it over' as $90-$100 for a pair of shoes is a lot for me. I personally think they look cool, and the during the 5 minutes I had them on in the store, they seemed comfortable. But, time will tell!!

Back when I was waiting tables some of the servers wore them, said nurses wear them a lot, but at the time I didn't want to shell out the $$ to buy shoes for a job that I didn't intend to continue with.
Anyone know what I'm talking about?

'Blunnies', or 'Blundstones' are what you're thinking off, yes, they are great, but my feet no longer like them since having babies....
I spose I'll have to get on the phone, ring the major stores, see if they can get hold of a pair.......if I were to buy them from a U.S site, it would end up being very costly, as the Aussie $ doen't convert well to the U.S. $

I was wondering about Dansko clogs or Birkenstocks as well!
Anyone else have bad arches and what works for them?
I'm wearing sneaks now.

I was an environmental science major, and we did reforestation work up in the Rainforest in the Atherton Tablelands up about 50 k west of Cairns. The closest town was called Yungaburra, if I recall correctly. Absolutely beautiful!!!! The people were fantastic, and the scenery was magnificent. I also did some travelling during my break-went to Magnetic Island and Sydney. Saw crocs, roos, and koalas. And LOTS of cane toads!! And leeches too.....lol
