Hello, I'm serving on student government at my nursing school and need an idea for a cool nursing school t-shirt. has anyone seen any really great ones? Any really funny nursing phrases, myths, etc.?

top ten list of why to become a nurse
i've seen "not tonight..." on the front and "i have clinicals in the morning" on the back.
and the oh-my-that-objectifies-nurses phrase of "nurses do it on the floor"

I have a shirt that I really like, it has a syringe on the back and it says "Nurses call the shots"

How about a hilarous (I can't spell, to many classes today!), t-shirt? Such as the 10 reasons we are nursing students, followed by such things as:
1. We don't like sleep anyway
2. We really enjoy pressure ulcers from sitting so long
3. We like having Quick snacks and Snack machines as our main diet
4. We like taking tests that half of us fail
5. We enjoy reading 200+ pages in our textbook every day
6. Our favorite thing to do is write 30+ pages of notes everyday
And so on...
I'm sure others could come up with some new ideas, in fact there was a thread entitled the same thing as this one just a couple of pages back on the board. Dig it up, and see what their suggestions were

Our program director found a nurse t-shirt in the closet at camp and gave it to me. I thought it was pretty cute even if it is kind of stained and cute that he gave it to me ...
It says:
I will promise to be Brave
I won't even Faint ... even if
there's stitches or even shots of if I
see Blood ... I won't ever scream (even
if I really want to) & most of all I will
never cry in front of the
DR ... Because I am the Nurse
I am the Nurse I am the Nurse I am

It's in funky writing with caps all kinds of places (like above) and little pictures are inserted like this:
I (tongue depressor exclamation point letter "I") will promise to be brave (picture of stethescope, also kind of looks like an exclamation point)
I (syringe letter "I") won't even faint ... even if
there's stitches or even shots of if I (another syringe)
see Blood ... (dots are some little kind of jars) I (another syringe) won't ever scream (even
never cry in (picture of tray with medical supplies on it kind of in the middle here) front of the
DR ... because I (syringe) am the Nurse
_____________
Let us know what you decide! Sounds like fun!

Our school sold some that said on front: An apple a day keeps the doctor away...... Back: But nothing stops a NURSE.
They were cute.
I think I am partial, though, to the one mentioned earlier..."not tonight, I have clinicals in the morning" :)

I have an old button in my jewelry box I got 30 some years ago at a student nurse convention. It says:
End the gas crisis, call a nurse.
It was in California in the 70's at a time when cars were lining up at the pumps for gas and could only purchase it on odd or even days depending on their license plate number. However, with what is going on today with gasoline, it can probably be just as fresh and current as it was back then!

At my school, our Term V class has sold shirts that say "Nurses Talk Dirty" on the front...and on the back: a warning label that says: may not be suitable for talk at the dinner table (or something like that)...they are really cute :)

It was awesome and I got alot of complements
It said
Diversional Activity Deficit
r/t
Nursing school
I think it would be funny to change the first part to something like
Disuse syndrome
or
Chronic Confusion
ineffective individual coping
Memory impairment
sexual dysfunction
LOL I could go on forever with these :)
