Nova Scotia

  1. Hi all,

My best friend (from 1st grade) and I are meeting for vacation in Nova Scotia. Has anyone been there? From the research I've done on the web it is beautiful.

I would love some advice from someone who lives there, or has visited, on things we should definitely see, eat, do, etc. My oldest sister just bought a "retirement/summer home" there, so we have a place to stay.

We will be flying in to Halifax and staying in Ingonish, if that helps. We will need to find a place to stay either in Halifax, or on the way to Ingonish, the first night we get there though.

    Thanks a lot,

Hi there, I have lived in Nova Scotia for 18 years and have recently moved to Toledo, Ohio. You must definatelt see Peggy's cove, it is a light house overlooks the Atlantic ocean. There are lots of parks and lakes, beaches, museums, life the Alexander Graham Bell museum in Cape Breton. Luenberg and Mahone Bay are tow quaint towns that will take your breath away. Halifax, is the capital and has plenty of shopping, restaurants, like Ryan duffy's. Spring Garden Rd has many shops and cafes. I hope you have a great time and take lots of pictures !
