Non-totally see-through white scrub pants...do they exist?

So, like, I bought some white scrubs for clinicals and they leave little to the imagination. I also bought appropriate underwear to wear with them...but I am wondering, is there a brand out there that is a bit more, um, willing to leave my unmentionables to the imagination? (I tried on Cherokee, Barco, Basix). I have a feeling I'll just have to deal with it for the next 2 years. Oh well.

Please let me know too! We have to wear those lovely white pants as well.

dianacs: have you tried "flesh tone" underwear?:D Just a thought. If you can see those through the pants then this may be a much bigger problem than I imagined. Why don't the schools just switch to blue scrubs for heavens sake?

Oh yeah, I bought the beige underwear, but as you can imagine it's still fairly obvious. :)

I bought my uniform today...same see thru white pants I've seen everyone else wearing. Luckily, the ugly colored polo shirt we have to wear almost covers the seat of my pants so I won't be showing too much!

i would suggest letting your underwear cover the entire bottom area and wear panty hose the color of your skin. i do realize panty hose may make it uncomfortable in one way or another for some, like myself, but it does look better at least to me when i look in the mirror that last time before leaving for work.

Good suggestion, LPN FUTURE RN.

I hate to be walking down the hall when a nurse in front of me bends down to pick up a pen or something. It definitely leaves very little to the imagination !!!:chuckle

For the women--you can buy pant's slips...slip material, only made to wear under pants. Might also help for those non-cotton scratchy uniform pants.

and welcome, emexrn!

The best pants I have found are S.C.R.U.B.S. you can find them online they are the draw string pants and they are a thicker cotton material and so soft they are my favorite. The thing I like the most is that they come in long lengths for us tall folk. Good luck I hope this helps:rolleyes:

and welcome to the board!

I feel like a cafeteria lady when I'm in white pants. Guess it's because when I was in high school I spent a summer working in a commisary and that's what we had to wear!

Missy mentioned "S.C.R.U.B.S." uniforms. I did a search for this company on line and I found "Scrubsuniform.com". Is this the right website for this company.

Also, does anyone know of any company's that make nifty printed tops? If I get this CNA position we are to wear white pants and a printed top of our choice and I would like some different choices.

Has anyone found any white scrub bottoms that are just a drawstring and straight legs? I really like those types but all I seem to find are elastic waists and elastic at the ankles, and that just drives me crazy! For some reason it bugs me to have something tight around my ankles.

Any leads are welcomed.

Okay I looked all over my house for the catalog and finally found it. The web site is SmartScrubs.com They have a great catalog with lots of fun tops. Hope this helps and good luck :)
