who can tell me the meaning of the abbreviated words "CS"? thank you very much.I need the anwser as quick as posible for my homework.

Depending on what your class is. If maternal health, then it is C-section, or Cesearean section. C&S is culture and sensitivity.

Could also be "Certified Specialist" (as in "(name), MSN, RN, CS").
Many possibilities -- depends on the context.

This reminds me.....
We were told that according to Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) that many abbreviations should now be spelled out....they have caused confusion and medication errors (1u being mistaken for 10 units of insulin)
Of course, my instructor also mentioned that she didn't believe the recommendation would change any Dr.'s habits anytime soon.....
As for what "CS" is......??? Sorry.

It depends on the context. If the homework is about specimen collection and procedures then it very likely means Culture and Sensitivity. Although, its usually written as C/S or C&S.
