I passed my test with 100% WOO HOO!!! I was dreading that test because you cannot miss more than 2 or you must repeat it. You have 3 tries to repeat....the 3rd failure and ya get the axe.:chair: I am just glad that is over with! I also passed skills check offs and life is feeling pretty good right now. I guess it's time to start studying for the next unit test on thursday!

Do you have calculations exams and what is the criteria for them? I think many people share my math phobia! Good luck to you all:kiss

Great job Angie, that is truly a blessing. By the way, could you recommend any good nurse calculations books that could help me prepare for this test!!!!!!!!! Thanks for the information.

Hi and Thank You! Here are the titles of the two books that I used. #1) Clinical Calculations
ISBN # 0-7216-8304-5
#2)Dosage Calculations
ISBN # 0-8273-6780-5
I forgot to mention that our exam also required a 90% to pass. We did not have a class for this...just book #1 to complete by yesterday. I used book #2, which I got in the PN program and I love it because it has many practice problems. I hope they help!

That is great! My we had to take med calc test a few weeks ago and we had to make a 100%!!! We were allowed 3 times to take it. I think it is a little ridiculous. I know of some people that failed out of their senior year because they didnt score a 100% on the test. I think it is crazy!!

Congrats on passing the math test !
We are using a fantastic Dosage Calculation Book, really easy to understand and comes with a CD.
