LVN to RN Bridge Program

  1. Is anyone in this type of program? I live here in California. I am seriously thinking about doing this since I am sick and tired of the way we LVNs are treated here and that includes the pay! I have been an LVN for 25 years and have worked in almost every phase of the acute care hospital. How difficult is this type of a program? I am considering the "30 unit option" which is very short but you don't graduate with a degree or anything but you are eligible to take RN Boards.

My ADN program has an accelerated path for LPNs (which I think is the same as an LVN). They join us in the second year, and skip the first year by testing out.
