thanks, rhona. i will be going back after i get my children from school. it may not have taken but an hour or so to wait, but just didn't feel like standing when there is an option to complete things later today.

by the way, glad you have gotten your books. time to start will be here quickly. monday is almost upon us and i am like a child waiting to open a christmas present for school to start.

What books do you need for your first semester? I only needed two textbooks plus three "coursepacks." Basically charging you for a bundle of Xeroxed pages. My books were Fundamentals of Nursing by Potter (& somebody else I can't remember) and the Davis Drug Guide for Nurses.

I, too, was like a kid at Christmas - all excited to get my books. I couldn't wait to get them home and browse through them. Check back with me in about two months and I'll probaby laugh at myself for wanting to skim textbooks as a leisure activity!

(2) health assessment (already have)

(3) pharmacology (already have)

(4) cis (need to get)

i do not need a book for

(5) orientation

I have all my books, have paid all my fees,,, went to orientation yesterday and start Monday with clinical lab!

You lucky dogs... here is the list for the REQUIRED books for my first semester (not including tax!):

ADN Resource manual -- $8.50

NS 102 Syllabus -- $10.35

Dimensional Analyis for Meds -- $43.85

Mosby's Pharmacology in Nursing -- $67.55

Illustrated Guide to Diagnostic Tests -- $44.95

The list of recommended books is even longer.... I got a lot of these for less though online stores though. I save about $100 bucks doing that...

PLUS of course, the uniform pants, tops and jacket and the patches which I have been told will run about $100 -- then the shoes -- and the stethoscope and other misc. little things they require.

BIG BUCKS HERE!
