ITT Students: READ THIS

  1. Advice to ITT Students: Don’t Give Up!

Many, many schools are stepping up to try and help you. There will be terms and conditions, and what they offer may not be right for you. But there is help - do your homework and select a quality school. Even if it means a wait. Even if it might mean repeating some courses.

The above article is WGU's plan. Not the ONLY school with a plan. Just the one I posted.

WGU Indiana has just secured $100k in scholarship assistance for displaced ITT students. Not specifically for nursing, but includes nursing. Here in Indy- a cohort was set to graduate from ITT's ADN program in six weeks. This is heartbreaking.

Please ITT tech students. Don't get victimized twice. The major for-profits are on to your situation like a shark to blood. (they have held college fairs to entrap this week)
Please heed the words. Now that you've had a taste of how they can ruin you, don't tempt fate again.
These folks really could care about any of your "career" goals if ANYTHING is going to interfere with their bottom line.
The cash flow throughout the for-profit world is tenuous at best.
This they will never tell potential recruits and is the essence of deceptive unethical business practices.
Truly a buyer beware situation on steroids, my colleagues. Please get educated and get the word out.
The information is there hiding in plain sight.

Say what you want about WGU, but it is not a for-profit school.

I am not a former ITT student but an Ivy Tech transfer student looking into the pre-licensure BSN degree through WGU Indiana, I came across your post on an older thread. Could I talk to you about some general questions about the program? I could even email you on my personal email. Thanks in advance!
