Hello everyone,

My name is Shion (shawn) (female) age 30, I'm currently enrolled in an LPN-RN ADN program... I'm married (1yr 5mths) still adjusting :)....

It's been a while since I've posted any messages on the bb, but I've always checked in periodically to see how everyone else is coping with school...

Well it's almost that time again.... class begins the week of the 1/16 ....the final semester....

I just wanted to let you guys know that your words or encouragement does not go un-noticed or unappreciated, I can see that we're all experiencing alot of the same anxieties... You are definitely not alone.........

Good luck to you all..... whatever semester's you're in.. May God continue to guide and keep you..........

hello everyone! it's been a while! but thought that i would post on here first before heading off to other things. i am 47, divorced, two grown kids and two adorable grandbabies and a full-time adn student!!

yes, i got in this fall after all the drama and hoopla. (remember the girl that got in before me that her mom was a "friend" of the dean of the nursing program??)

i just started my second quarter and love it! of course i took all the pre-req's first before my nursing classes which i am now thankful that i did. makes the nursing classes so much more enjoyable and less stressful. (as if there isn't any stress in them at all! yea, right!)

anyway...hello to all and good luck!!

:kiss

:D :d

welcome back! congratulations on starting your program. don't be a stranger. all the best.:kiss

Toodles,

Congrats! You WILL have to remind yourself of that! But you'll be glad you did! It will be hard, yet rewarding! I will graduate December 2004. Good-luck!

Hi everyone! I am in a 4th/5 semester ADN program. I will FINALLY graduate in August 2004 (hopefully) Love this board. It helps to know others are going through all this stress too, I don't think anyone can understand what it's like unless you have been through it yourself.

Good Luck to all.:p

Hi all!

I am a 35 year old military wife and mother of one. I am starting nursing school on 2/2/04. We are currently stationed in Virginia. If all goes well I will graduate in the spring of 2005.

I am so nervous about going back to school. I have been discouraged by so many not to enter the nursing field. One huge "non-supporter" being my mother-in-law. She is by the way an RN. I however, made up my mind over a year ago just to go for it! My husband is very supportive, but unfortunately gone a lot due to his job.

I am so glad I found this website. I know it will be a handy resource. Good luck to all in their studies!
