Good luck to all of you. I will be starting my last semester in my ADN program in August. Graduation will be December. I am actually off for the summer. Enjoying my children, husband and fishing again! I have every intention of studying this summer too, but so far the projects around the house have taken precedence as well as a few good books. If I may, a word of advice. Talk with your instructors about what NCLEX review books they like. Buy at least one and study from it for your regular tests. We found that our instructors actually took questions from them (changing the wording slightly but almost exact) for some of their test questions. Also, if the textbook offers on-line or CDrom questions study those too. Again, some of our test questions were very similar. Good luck to all of you. Before you know it, you will be where I am. L.

I too (in regards to dalesgirl's post) have been window shopping. Must have spent a good hour at allheart.com looking at $200 stethoscopes I can't afford! Wee!

I'm quite the mellow person and I'm just content finally discovering what I'd like to go to school for. No window shopping for me yet. I take it all in stride as it comes. If I look at the big picture I get very overwhelmed!

I start on Monday for "Intercession" which is the Intro to LPN class 6/21-6/30. My A&P I/II class starts on 6/21 also, and goes until 8/09. I don't know when one class ends and another begins, because we do clock hours instead of class hours. I then have three weeks off and start nursing classes on 9/04. I graduate LPN school 5/13/05, and start my fast track RN program (God willing) 8/2005. I look at the upcoming future, and then think about the hard work and stress I am about to be dealing with... on top of being a mom to a 2 yr. old, a 1 yr. old, and an infant. :uhoh21: Can we put this off for another year?
