I took a Bio 101 class several years out of nsg school--boy, they really had found a lot of new stuff in that generic cell!!! Also got to remorize the Krebs cycle, or whatever they call it now. ATP? or something.

If you have to take a bio class, try finding it online; you could probably do it faster. Just a thought.

Let's assume you're gonna pass, ok?

I had to take a math placement test at a CC before I could enroll in Statistics. (My BSN program didn't require it 10 years ago.) I needed the Stats for my graduate school application. It was all about linear equations & other fun stuff...

Anyway, took it & was told I'd have to take Int.Algebra before Stats. I took it again (did worse after studying GRE book!) & was told I needed Basic Algebra prior to Stats.

Long story short: I was put in touch with a Math advisor, explained my A in College Algebra 10 years ago, my need to take Stats for graduate school, and my current profession.

He waived it...I got an A in Stats...and graduate with my MSN next Thursday!

Good luck to you, Hope it works out!

Well I couldn't get the test waived, so I decided to take it today. I asked the woman at the college what the percentage of people who pass or fail it is and she said that most people fail it. Needless to say, that didn't make me feel too confident.

The test was harder than I thought it was going to be and I had never had a lot of the stuff on it. It definitely wasn't basic biology! After I completed it, I felt that I had definitely failed it and I was feeling frustrated and down. I had to wait for a few minutes until they scored it and I was sitting there thinking I failed.

I was very surprised when the woman told me I passed and I really couldn't believe it. So, I registered for A&P I&II this summer and I start on 05/16. Should be interesting!

Way to go! Now you can forget about the ridiculous placement test & get busy with A&P II!
